VILLA VELANIDI

 

 

 

 

“In 2005 we bought a plot of land in Kaligata, Kefalonia through Vinieris real estate.  George and Adonis Vinieris put us in touch with Panagis Tzivras at AEC Group.  We described our vision for a villa on the plot to Panagis.  Panagis produced some initial architectural drawings and estimates for us.  At the same time we called previous customers of AEC as references.  They all had a good experience with AEC.

 

We gave feedback to Panagis on the drawings and after a few iterations we agreed on a final plan for the villa.  The plan included the villa, landscaping and the driveway.  Most of this was done through email and over the phone and communication was excellent throughout the process.

 

After we agreed on the villa plan, Panagis produced a detailed schedule of costs, a building works timetable, and a payment timetable.  AEC handled all the paperwork for the building permits.

 

In early 2006 AEC promised to deliver our completed Villa to us in early June 2007.  They actually completed in May 2007 and we spent the last week in May with our family in Villa Velanidi.  Our children enjoyed the pool and we finished the final snagging and furnishing for the villa.

 

Throughout the process Panagis and AEC kept us informed of all progress by email, telephone calls and emailed photos.  We had no delays and no surprises.  When we wanted some modest additional work, AEC promptly quoted us a price and completed the work in the original timetable.  We made three visits to the villa during construction and on each visit Panagis and Fotis, the on site foreman, were welcome and helpful.  They immediately put right any issues and answered all of our questions.

 

Overall we had a very positive experience with AEC and highly recommend them to anybody wishing to build a villa.  At all times they were professional, prompt, and knowledgeable and always put our interests first.  We were lucky to have them and we are delighted with our villa”.
